Together with creative agency Simmonds Ltd, Masha Batsii realised Gucci’s first 3D billboard for their fragrance Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia which was showcased at Piccadilly Circus and other anamorphic screens around the world.
Masha plucked inspiration from the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine Campaign starring Miley Cyrus. “Are we inside the magical pink house, are we on the beach,” Masha asks, “or are we simply daydreaming?”
Fantastic, surreal and luxurious, this magical spinning 3D cabinet offers a selection of their most loved tests, combinations and happy accidents: blossoming magnolia, jasmine, and gardenia, glowing waves breaking over the virtual sands, and video-flower cutouts showing Miley in the garden. “We not only pushed the possibilities of technology,” says Masha, “we also experimented, broke some rules and thought outside the box; metaphorically as well as literally.”
